Week 42 July3-9 Week 43 July 10-16 Logan.barker@missionary.org Hey guys! Sorry it's been a while I hope you had a great 4th, and great weeks.  Most of these past 3 weeks, has been working on visiting everyone we can from area book. We are starting to get to know a lot of people, especially because we are in such a small town.  We were able to have a couple lessons with Dylan these weeks! The first one was a scripture study with him. We were able to study Moroni 7 and it was great as always! Then our second lesson is the crazy one. WE PUT DYLAN ON DATE!!! He is seriously so amazing, and so prepared. He is also starting to become one of our really good friends. Anyway before our lesson with Dylan we were preparing what to teach him and we prayed about a date for him. All of us got something a little different, like one got 19, and another 28, and 25. So we were thinking it had to be in the 20s somewhere so we decided on August 26th for him. So we went in there and taught him a f...

 Logan.barker@missionary.org Week 41      June 26 - July 2 Our Bishop asked if Elder Barker would write down his testimony and if Landon (his younger brother) would read it in Fast and Testimony meeting for July, on July 2. Cool fact, that was also Kevin's birthday. Here is the testimony and report he sent:  Hey Bishop, thanks for this opportunity to share my testimony, and my mission report! Testimony  I want to start by saying I know that Heavenly Father loves each and every one of you so much, and because he loves us he sent us his son Jesus Christ. And because Jesus Christ loves us so much he Atoned for our sins. Every single one of them. I know that because of the Atonement of Jesus Christ, we can repent and be forgiven, and be able to turn toward him every time we mess up. Week 40 June 19-25, 2023 Logan.barker@missionary.org 6/26/23 Hey guys! I hope you have a couple of good weeks. It is crazy that June is almost done. Anyway these past weeks have been pretty good.  One of the biggest things was I got to see Alan get baptized! It was amazing to see someone I worked with for 7 months make the decision to come closer to his Savior. Another huge thing from this week was during a lesson with our friend Dylan. We taught him the gospel of Jesus Christ, and read 2 Nephi 31 with him. The lesson went great, but the cool part was at the end. At our last lesson with Dylan, we made him pinky promise that he would say the prayer at the end of our next one. So he said the closing prayer. During his prayer me and my companion both felt the spirit pretty strongly, and as soon as that happened we knew that this kid was 100% really trying to find Jesus Christ, and was praying with a sincere heart and real intent, it was awesome!
