Week 102 Mission Update

 Week 102 Mission Update 9/2/2024

Hey guys I figured I should write an email, seeing as I only have one month left.

Last time I wrote I was in Brownsville and I had Elder Lash as my companion. Since then transfers have happened...and alot since that.
The rest of my transfer with Elder Lash was good we worked hard and saw the hand of the Lord in our work. We were able to share the restored gospel with lots of people, but whether they act on it or not is up to them. We had lots of fun P days and I got to live with one of my past companions for his last transfer. One P day we went to this place called blue pool it was crazy but good. We have been teaching some cool people and helping them come closer to their Savior. Paul is still on track to getting dunked which is hype.
Then I got transfer calls and I am staying in Brownsville for my last transfer. I am getting a new companion named Elder Palmer. Me and him had a blast. We worked hard and experienced alot. We had a tweaker chase us, a gun pulled, and all the good stuff. We also found 2 really cool people named Nancy and Eric. Nancy has read some of the BoM and said she would come to church. Eric read alot of the BoM and took a bunch of notes in the margins and we talked about that for a while. However Elder Palmer unfortunately had to go home so for the time being I am now in a trio in a neighboring city called Sweet Home, with Elder Madsen and his trainee Elder Demille. This week was interesting, we knocked a whole bunch with no success. It's been hard but I love how you can still see the Lord's hand even when it's hard. An inactive family wants their son baptized and we may have finally found someone from Facebook work. So God is good!! I have absolutely loved being a missionary and it has gone by way too fast! I had a really cool personal study the other day about repentance and the true blessing that it is. The worth of every soul truly is great is the sight of God.
Love you all!
