Week 105-106 Final Email

  September 25, 2024 Hey guys I figured I should write one last email before I go home. First things first I did it! I made it 2 years. 2 years of service to my Father in Heaven and my Savior. It truly was 2 of the best years of my life. I loved learning more, and trying to be more like my Savior.  I loved teaching and sharing my testimony with others, and even helping some make their first covenant with God. I am so grateful for the Gospel of Jesus Christ and the blessing it is to my life, I don't know where I would be without it.  For my last couple of weeks as a missionary I finished strong out in Sweet Home. We knocked alot and had quite a few good lessons. I also had a great exchange, where we had some great lessons that make missionary life worth it. I am running out of time, so I will let you all know that God lives, Jesus Christ is his Son and our only way back to the father. I know that the gospel of Jesus Christ is our blueprint for joy on earth and in the life ...

Week 102 Mission Update

 Week 102 Mission Update 9/2/2024 Hey guys I figured I should write an email, seeing as I only have one month left. Last time I wrote I was in Brownsville and I had Elder Lash as my companion. Since then transfers have happened...and alot since that.  The rest of my transfer with Elder Lash was good we worked hard and saw the hand of the Lord in our work. We were able to share the restored gospel with lots of people, but whether they act on it or not is up to them. We had lots of fun P days and I got to live with one of my past companions for his last transfer. One P day we went to this place called blue pool it was crazy but good. We have been teaching some cool people and helping them come closer to their Savior. Paul is still on track to getting dunked which is hype.  Then I got transfer calls and I am staying in Brownsville for my last transfer. I am getting a new companion named Elder Palmer. Me and him had a blast. We worked hard and experienced alot....

Week 95 Mission Update!

 Week 95 July8-July14, 2024   July 16, 2024 Hey guys! I figured it was about time for another mission update! I think in my last email I was still in Salem so I'll start there. I am in Brownsville now, I just started my second transfer here so it's going pretty good! It's kinda funny that I'm back in Brownsville because I am in the same district as my first area. Brownsville is a pretty small town, our area is pretty big so we cover lots of small towns, the plus side however is it is super pretty out here it is just country and farmlands for miles! The work out here is actually going pretty good! You get lots of fun stories being in the middle of nowhere. This area is by far the area I have knocked the most doors in. Our mission has been kind of been focusing on finding the "elect". It's been cool to see how the Lord blesses those who put in the effort. I have already seen a couple "fourth floor, last door" type miracles, which has been amazing! ...

Week 94 Mission Update

 Week 94 April 29-May 5 May 6, 2024 Hey guys! I just realized it's been a while since I have written an email so I figured I probably should. Anyway transfers happened a couple weeks ago and me and my companion Elder Broadbent and both staying here in Salem! It's still been kind of an adjustment going from small boonies towns to the biggest city in our mission, but all things considered I think it's going well! The work here has been moving along. I don't know if you guys remember the talk from Elder Holland when he talks about believing in good things to come, but let me tell you guys he was right! The Lord truly does want to bless each of us. Within the past couple of weeks we have gotten referrals that have become pretty much our whole teaching pool. Which is so crazy because the rest of mission referrals have never really worked. Week 77 Update!

 Week 77 March 4 -March 10, 2024  (Transferred to new area -Salem on 2/29/24) Hey guys! It been a while haha 😅. Anyway to start I thought I would let you guys know that I was transferred! I sadly left the coast, and got transferred to Salem! I was kind of nervous at first because my whole mission I have been in the boonies, and now I was going to the biggest city in the mission.  In my 1 week here Salem has already been crazy. To start we almost got hit with fireworks, that was crazy. They lit them off like 20 ft from us, and we thought it was a gunshot at first. However while they were going off we found someone new so maybe we need more fireworks...then just a couple days ago there was a shooting in a park we were walking around in just the day before it happened. Not gonna lie that was pretty scary to think about.  The good news though is I have probably taught the Restoration here more times than I did in my last area which is nuts. Week 73 Talk - Coming Unto Christ

Logan gave this talk on February 11, at the Neah-kah-nie Branch:  Good morning brothers and sisters, I'm grateful to have this opportunity to speak to you guys today. I am also very grateful for the topic I was assigned. My topic is coming unto Jesus Christ.  Now when I first got this topic I was not sure exactly what to talk about. My mind went to all sorts of places like do I talk about his atonement Or do I talk about his life and ministry here on the Earth, Or do I talk about his attributes and his example.  But to start I wanna talk about the Book of Mormon, as Missionaries this is what we teach about first, it's the Keystone of our religion and it is a great way to come unto Christ. I mean Joseph Smith says in the introduction to the book " I told the brethren that the Book of Mormon was the most correct of any book on earth, and the keystone of our religion, and a man would get nearer to God by abiding by its precepts, than by any other book."
