Week 10 Turkey Week
Logan.Barker@missionary.org
Hey
guys, this week was super awesome! We got two p days, and had lots of
fun! Also Thanksgiving on the mission isn't actually too bad. Anyways
the week started off with p day and yes we played basketball all day.
It's always nice to have that break. Tuesday came super fast, and to
start it off we had to drop off a missionary leaving our area, 'cause of
transfers. The rest of the day was mostly just visits, and a member
dinner. Wednesday was fun, we started the day with a run to the gym,
there is this super nice member that let's us use his gym so it is
great. Then at the end of the day we went to McDonalds. We got our food,
and this homeless guy started talking to us. He went on about politics,
and bunch of other stuff. After he was getting up to leave, he took one
of our Mcchickens, and a handful of my fries, and as he was leaving he
promised us a house and a car, so I guess it's nice to know that I now
have a house and car waiting for me. Then Thursday, we played football,
ate turkey at a members house, and then ended the day with basketball.
We got a new missionary in the apartment he is pretty awesome. It was
super nice to have two p days In one week. Friday and Saturday was back
to missionary work. Sorry this was a short email but I have lots of
pictures. I hope all of you are doing well, and that you all had a
great Thanksgiving. As we have now entered into the Christmas season, I
would encourage all of you to spread your light, and strive for personal
revelation. I would also encourage you to remember the reason for the
season. We celebrate Christ's birth this season, so don't forget him
this season, and always remember to rely on the greatest gift ever
given, the Atonement. I hope you all have a great week, and Merry
Christmas.
