Week 13 Merry Christmas!
Logan.barker@missionary.org
Hey Guys, I hope you had a great week. My week was the same old, same old, so I'll just talk about a couple of cool stuff I guess. Most of our member lessons were showing them the Christ Child video. Every time we showed it, it always brought the spirit. Most of the time it also consisted of sisters crying, but hey it just means they feel it. So it was really cool to see, how a video about the birth of our Savior could affect people so deeply. Also this week was exchanges with our zone leaders. I was with Elder Miller up in Jefferson. It was so awesome, he is trying his best to be a consecrated (obedient, hard-working, giving his all to the Lord) missionary, and I want to as well. He made a goal to find a new person every day for the rest of his mission. So we taught a lesson and tracted. Also we ended up finding someone new at the end of the day so that was pretty sweet. Then on Friday we had our ward Christmas party. It was pretty fun. We got an investigator to come and they had a great time. For the play they had, some people were sick so Elder Martin and I got to step in. I was the innkeeper, and Elder Martin was Joseph. Overall it was a blast and I got to meet Santa so that was pretty awesome. Lastly to end the week, we were able to put Treva on date. It was such a cool experience to be able to see her making a choice to come closer to her Heavenly Father. Anyway this week was a pretty great week, I can't believe Christmas is next week! I love to hear from guys, so please reach out and tell me how your Christmas season is going. I wish you all a merry Christmas, and encourage you all to give a gift to your Savior this season. I miss you all and hope you have a great next week.
Elder Barker
