Week 23 Emergency Room Visit, and New Apartment

Logan.Barker@missionary.org

Hey guys! I hope you have had a great week! My week was pretty eventful. So normally Tuesdays are our packed days. We have 3 lessons usually, and other stuff usually comes up so it's packed. Anyway we were in comp study, and we were planning what we want to teach all of our friends, when we get this text that says any chance you could give me a ride to the emergency room, and of course it had to be from our friend Alan.

Anyway we get that text and kind of start freaking out, cause we can't give him a ride. Turns out it was not 911 worthy which was a good thing. So after we found that out, we started calling members and figuring out if any of them could give us a ride. We ended up finding someone, and it was a miracle because the person that was willing already knew Alan, so it wasn't weird or awkward when we picked him up. We got to his house and we were able to pick him up safely, and bring him to the emergency room. We dropped him off, and they told us we were free to go.
The coolest part about this story was a few days after, Alan texted us, "amen Jesus lives"! Hopefully next time we meet with him, he will want to get baptized immediately 😀. I know the Lord works miracles among his children. How everything just fell into place and it all worked out was no coincidence. I am so grateful that the Lord blesses us, and cares about our lives.
The other exciting event this week, was we moved apartments! So alot of last week was packing up the old apartment. Let me tell you guys, missionary apartments have the most random stuff in them. From homemade quilts, to railroad spikes, to spray paint, it has everything. So it took a while to pack everything up, and sort out what we needed and didn't. When the time came to move we had most of our stuff packed up, and we were able to move it all out! Sadly we lost our desks in the move 😥, but we got new tables so I guess it's OK. Here's the best part, our new apartment is suuuuuper nice. Like 2 full bathrooms and a giant kitchen. The only downside is we are on the second floor, so moving in wasn't the easiest, but it was worth it. Anyway living in the new apartment is great!
I hope you guys have had a great week, filled with miracles, and feeling God's love for each and every one of you. Feel free to reach out I love hearing from you guys!!! Enjoy the rest of this week, and as always don't forget to pray.
